‘What Lies Beneath’ was exhibited at Vivid Sydney 2023, the world’s largest light festival with more than 3 million spectators. Projected on the stones of Nawi Cove in Barangaroo, transforming into an underwater habitat teeming with corals and marine life. This project was driven by two decades of NASA data (2003-2023) to create visualisations and sonifications that reflected the changing oceanic environment and its impact on the reef, to prompt conservational awareness.
