What Lies Beneath: Mosque of Pasha Qasim

Sound Designer / Composer

Following its success at Vivid Sydney, ‘What Lies Beneath’ received an invitation to be showcased at the Zsolnay Light Festival 2023. Exhibited on the Mosque of Pasha Qasim, the installation features a 360-degree projection mapping. ‘What Lies Beneath’ is a captivating ocean data visualisation and sonification endeavour, driven by two decades of NASA data (2003-2023). This immersive experience offers a tangible representation of oceanic behaviour, to bring awareness to climate change. Originally commissioned by Destination NSW for Vivid Sydney 2023, this work continues to captivate audiences with its innovative exploration of oceanic data.
